We are praying for our church family at this time and stand together as we recover from the devastation of Hurricane Florence. As the church, we also ask how we can show His love to our neighbors, community and city. There are many ways that we can help in this time of great need.
Join us in prayer. Prayer is a way we can all participate in our response to Florence; prayer for our church community, prayer for our neighbors, prayers for our city and state, prayers all those affected by the storm and all these responding to the call to help in the recovery efforts. Let us never forget the power of prayer to change situations and lives.

Crisis Response International (CRI) is working to bring relief to the victims and families affected by Hurricane Florence. Crisis Response International is a 501-c3 charitable, relief organization that specializes in training and mobilizing volunteers as well as bringing relief to disasters and crisis situations around the world. Directors, Laura and Sean Malone, are good friends of MGEPC. They are currently serving hot meals in Wilmington. THEY URGENTLY NEED METAL FOLDING CHAIRS AND TABLES (Lifetime Brand Picnic Tables). See the end of this email for a list of additional items needed by CRI.

MGEPC Missionary, Kyle Pennington, serves full-time with Vigilant Hope.They serve the homeless and those in poverty here in Wilmington. As they seek to meet needs in the coming days they specifically need sleeping bags, tarps, tents and Walmart gift cards.

You can give to the EPC emergency relief fund which will be distributed to EPC churches in areas affected by Hurricane Florence. There will be also be MGEPC teams serving in the relief efforts in the community. We need both volunteers to help with clean up and debris removal and volunteers to loan the teams chainsaws. Please email as soon as possible if you are able to help.
