Body Ministries
Women in Circles:
Circles are a women's small group of sisters in Christ. Circles gather at least once a month, September – June, in homes or at the church. They have a Bible Study and support our missionaries at home and abroad. They support each other through prayer and friendship. We presently have 2 circles:
· Circle #1 meets the 2nd Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. Chairperson, Wanda Kye. Billie Carroll, Bible Teacher.
· Circle #5 meets 2nd Monday, 1:00 p.m. Chairperson, Ann Pitts.
Women in the Word:
A Kay Arthur video and learning technique which is a line by line study / lecture at a Thursday morning class. Taught by Tricia Truax, 784-9562.
Women in Prayer
Come join us as we pray together as women for the women in ministry and any individual need you might have
Mondays, 9:00-10:00 a.m., Sarah Phillips.
Tuesdays, 8:30-10:00 a.m., Resource Library
Tuesdays, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Chapel
Prayer Shawl Ministry
We create prayer shawls and lap robes to bless others (the sick, grieving, lonely, those who need comfort, new babies, newlyweds, new believers). With God’s guidance, we choose a pattern to knit or crochet, name the shawl, select a Bible serve to go with the name. We pray for the person receiving. Contact Betty Sabin or Susan Haynsworth.
Women’s Loving Care
Ministry to single moms, widows, etc. Contact June Kort or Jennifer Batson.
Women’s Physical Fitness

Apples of Gold
Women mentoring younger women. To mentor or be mentored, contact Diane Satterfield or Margie Boor.
Outreach Ministries
Reaching Hearts - a ministry for women to reach inner city women and women’s prisons. Contact Brenda Matthews, 792-0997.
LifeLine Pregnancy Center - a ministry that assists women each year with pregnancy testing, counseling, alternatives to abortion, abstinence education, port abortion counseling, prenatal and parenting classes. All services are free and confidential. If interested in volunteering, contact Cindi Adair.
Salvation Army - assisting with their annual Christmas Program. Call Mary Jo Hundley, 343-8943, or Shirley Cable, 395-1346.
Women’s Prayer / Counseling - Contact Sarah Phillips, Carol Wallin, or Deborah Brittingham.
