Called to Reign with Christ through Intimacy, Revelation & Prayer - Patsy Lennon
True Prayer is more than asking God for things. It is a living, vital relationship with our heavenly Father. I believe to be effective in prayer we must have a revelation of the power of the blood of Jesus Christ and all He has accomplished on our behalf through the power of the Holy Spirit and the absolute dependence upon Him.
Through His precious blood we are redeemed, reconciled to the Father, acquitted, cleansed, sanctified and have the right to live in God’s presence because of the blood of Jesus. We come boldly to His throne of grace to obtain mercy to help in time of need. We all need help. Rom 8:26 says we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. We must be totally dependent upon the power of the Holy Spirit to pray effectively. Jesus has placed all of heaven at our feet and given us the key to unlocking it’s endless resources. He said pray in My name. What an invitation not only to live in His presence but to come boldly to His throne of grace to participate with Him in enforcing His will on earth as it is in heaven. You are invited to come to this comprehensive class on prayer. Room 118

The Heart of Paul's Theology - Stacey Miller
Paul passionately proclaimed the good news of individual salvation in Jesus Christ. But this wasn’t the heart of Paul’s gospel. According to Paul, salvation is not primarily about individuals being saved from the wrath of God. Rather, the gospel is about the triumph of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God. It is about God redeeming and recreating the heavens and the earth through Jesus Christ and about our participation in that renewed world. The video instructor for The Heart of Paul’s Theology is Reggie Kidd, and this is the first in a series on the Pauline epistles. Room 120
Class Goals
Orient students to Paul’s apostolic ministry.
Describe Paul’s central message and worldview.
Summarize the structure, content, original meaning and modern application of Galatians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, and 1 & 2 Corinthians.
The Holiness of God - Dan Eaddy
The Holiness of God is Ligonier Ministries’ most popular and enduring series. Literally thousands of people have testified to a transforming encounter with God through this series. This classic can help you better understand the biblical picture of God’s awesome holiness and why it is so foundational to God-centered, God-honoring theology and Christian living. In The Holiness of God, R.C. Sproul demonstrates that encounter-ing God’s holy presence is a terrifying experience. Dr. Sproul argues that this struggle is nonetheless necessary because it is the only way to cure our propensity to trust in ourselves and our own righteousness for salvation. Room 112
Kingdom, Covenants & Canon of the Old Testament - Steve Curtis
If someone asked, “What is the Old Testament about?” would you have an answer? Could you summarize the meaning of Job? And more fundamentally, could you explain why the Old Testament is relevant for Christians today? Unfortunately, many modern Christians lack a firm understanding of the basic content and meaning of the Old Testament. As a result, they are inadvertently attempting to live their Christian lives based only on the New Testament. Jesus and his apostles taught that the Old Testament is very important for Christians. As a matter of fact, when Paul told Timothy that all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, he was referring primarily to the Old Testament. The video instructor for Kingdom, Covenants & Canon of the Old Testament is Richard Pratt, and this is the first in a Bible Survey series. Room 111/113
Class Goals
Orient Christians to the overarching message of the Old Testament.
Introduce the various genres of literature in the Hebrew Bible.
Summarize the structure, content, original meaning and modern application of each book.
