Glorious Day: An Evening of Worship

·       Sunday, October 25, 4:00 pm, Pender County Courthouse Lawn, Burgaw

·       Both events free and open to the public

·       A worship event. Join over seventy-five musicians and singers from nearly a dozen area churches as well as members of the Dance Arts Conservatory and a children’s ensemble for an evening of Christian worship through music.

·       An intergenerational event. An intergenerational worship band, accompanied by a 50-voice worship choir and 15-piece orchestra, a dance team and children’s ensemble will lead those who attend in over an hour of worship through songs such as "Mighty to Save," "Revelation Song," "You Never Let Go," and song medleys including traditional favorites like “Alas, and Did My Savior Bleed” and “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty.”

·       A community event. We want others to hear about the greatness of our God and our Savior Jesus Christ, so we’ve arranged to worship together in two community venues that are familiar and easily accessible. This is a great opportunity to bring friends, family and neighbors to experience worship. These events are free and open to the public.

·       An interdenominational event. Musicians, singers and dancers from the following churches are participating: Myrtle Grove Presbyterian, Burgaw Baptist, Global River Church, Calvary Chapel, Burgaw Methodist, Southside Baptist, Winter Park Baptist, North Grove Presbyterian and Port City Community Church.
